The Happy Valley School District recognizes there is a link between learning and student health. Our school food service program plays a vital role in ensuring students have access to nutritious meals that support their health and academic success. Our program operates under strict federal nutrition standards and regulations to provide balanced meals, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean protein, while limiting unhealthy components like sodium, saturated fats and added sugars. We are pleased to inform you that ALL students enrolled at Happy Valley UESD are eligible to receive breakfast and lunch at no charge.
Happy Valley has implemented the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the School Years 2026/27 - 2029/30.

While app meals are provided at no cost to enrolled students, families are encouraged to complete the Alternative Income Form at the beginning of each school year.
The information collected through this form helps determine additional state funding our district receives to support programs and services for students. It may also be used to determine if your household qualifies for additional benefits.
Happy Valley Union School District is committed to providing safe and appropriate meal options for students Dietary Needs.
In accordance with USDA regulations, meal modifications or substitutions are available for students whose disabilities restrict their diet. A completed Medical Statement to Request Special Meals and/or Accommodations form from a licensed physician is required when requesting meal accommodations.
Can parents or visitors purchase a meal?

Parents/guardians who wish to eat with their child at school must schedule their visit in advance with the classroom teacher. You may bring your own meal or purchase a school meal by notifying the teacher by 8:00 a.m. The teacher will notify the office and cafeteria if a meal is requested.
Adult Breakfast $5.25 - Adult Lunch $6.50
