The History of Happy Valley
The Happy Valley Union School District is a two-campus district located in the outskirts of Anderson, CA. The district is centered in the small town of Happy Valley. The Happy Valley School District is composed of a primary school and an elementary school.

Happy Valley has a new WEBSITE!

Our next school board meeting will be held on November 12th~
Open Session prior to Closed Session starts at 5:30 p.m. in the Elementary School Cafeteria. After any Open Session comments the board will retire to Closed Session.
Our regular Open Session board meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. in the Elementary School Cafeteria.
Board meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month. Board agendas and packets are posted to the website on the Friday preceeding Wednesday's board meeting.

The CalKIDS program is a free college savings initiative from the State of California. Through CalKIDS, every eligible public school student is automatically provided with a college savings account, funded by the state to help jumpstart future education goals. There’s no cost to participate, and no paperwork required to get started. Parents can access their child’s account online and even contribute additional funds if they choose. This is a wonderful opportunity to begin planning early for college or career training. To learn more or to check your child’s eligibility, visit www.calkids.org.

The Happy Valley Website has gone through a major overhaul. We hope you enjoy our new look and navigation! Our goal is to bring you as much information as possible in one place.
We have added a "For Students" tab on each school site that includes Livecams at the San Diego Zoo and a link to Explore.org. Explore.org has over 100 live feeds for the kids to explore the habitats of all kinds of animals all over the world.
We have also included some educational learning links as well!
Please feel free to give us feedback on the new website. If there is an item you would like to see added, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate requests.

We’re excited to share that, thanks to a grant from the State of California, brand-new Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten classrooms are being built right here at our school!
These beautiful new learning spaces are being designed just for our youngest students and will provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment to support early learning. Construction is underway, with completion expected in December or January 2026.
We can’t wait to welcome new TK and Kindergarten families into these state-of-the-art classrooms—now is the perfect time to consider enrolling your child!
